Andrew (smitty) was a much loved person who left us on the 2nd April 2001, Smitty died after being
struck by a car outside the Heathlands pub in Ipswich.
Smitty was a fun loving, happy cheeky chap who really enjoyed life. "Don't worry be
happy" said it all!
He is greatly missed by everyone who knew him and his family.
Another year, 8 of them now, and it still hurts us so much.
Today, tomorrow, the next day, and every other day after that, we will be thinking and remembering you.
A Young Man Who Loved Life.............
taken from his family far, far too soon.
Love and miss you Andrew

Your 30th Birthday
Hello Son & Brother
Today, had you lived, you would have been 30. Your family can only imagine, as we loved you so much, what kind of celebrating would have been going on all over the weekend!
We always think of you and we miss you so very much.
The fun, laughter and the love from you that we have lost, since you were taken from us, is so, so tragic to live with, yet we must go on, though how we do it, sometimes, we do not know.
You are in our hearts and minds and will be forever.
Happy 30th Birthday, Andrew

We often think of the lovely holiday we had, with you making us all laugh every single day! You are missed by many, taken too soon. Thinking of you and your family xxxx
We Miss You
Often it's the little things we really want to share,
That makes us wish, that you were here......instead of being there.
When something funny makes us laugh, we always think of you........
Because we know if you where here....that you'd be laughing too.............. xxxxxxx
Happy Birthday, Son
Today, Andrew, is your birthday, you would have been 29.
Dad & I wonder often what you would have been like at this age, would you have had children?
One thing is for sure, had you lived, we would all be still seeing your smiling face and your cheeky grin.
We all miss you so much and we think of you all the time, you WILL NEVER EVER be forgotten.
All Our Love
Mum, Dad, Louisa & Sam

Smitty
Smitty was a character, a good lad, a big heart with as big a smile to go with it. His sense of humour was 'wicked', he made us all laugh, when we were low, his cuddle lifted you so you could carry on. He was an ordinary lad, no saint, yet he certainly was not a 'bad boy'. He had a knowledge that surprised me, sometimes he would say things that took me aback, he had a wisdom older than his years, yet ten minutes later he would be back to his usual self. I wondered then as I do now, why did he say these things?
My son was killed before his time, and we as a family, thank Jamie for setting up this site for all his family and friends to visit, especially at this time of year, or whenever they need to. They can leave little stories or poems, we can all have a little laugh or a little cry.
I hope that when you leave this memorial to Andrew though, you will go with a smile on your face, I mean the daft things that he got up to, like walking into an Army tank, he didn't see it! I mean, come on, how big has an Army tank got to be before he sees it?? Smiles is what we should be remembering, he wouldn't have wanted it any other way.....
My Son
A Young Man Who Loved Life
My soul is released in Heaven,
My spirit is in the wind,
I've arrived inside God's kingdom,
In Heaven here with Him.
Inside this place of beauty,
Enchantment always near,
Far past imagination,
This land that has no fear.
Think of me, when butterflies
Are flying everywhere,
I'm singing, dancing, laughing,
Free from earth's despair.
The other side of tomorrow,
Within God's time you'll see,
I know He'll bring you safely home,
Then forever we will be.
Keep a song inside your heart,
And know that I am free,
Do not weep in sorrow,
When you remember me.
so very sorry
What a tragedy, and a sad loss of life in such a cruel way,
My thoughts are with you,
god bless xx
